POSITION TITLE: Maximo Solutions Architect
LOCATION(S): Alpharetta, Georgia
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: The design and implementation of Enterprise Asset Management solutions at customer sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing the best solution that meets or exceeds a customer’s expectation.
ACTIVITIES and DUTIES:

Analysis and Solution:
- Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of client’s organization and industry
- Identify client organization’s strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement
- Develop and review requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution
- Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements
- Design efficient and logical data models
- Design superior technical solutions
- Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions
Project Execution:
- Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Communicate and enforce coding standards
- Manage development and implementation resources within budget and project schedule
- Review work of team
- Consistently deliver high‐quality services to clients
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent required
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of consulting experience required
- Data management systems experience
- Experience with Maximo Version 7 and below
- Familiarity with BIRT Reporting Tool and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
- Programming experience in Java, C++, NET, VBScripts desired
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITY:
- Industry knowledge and good understanding of business challenges associated with Enterprise Asset Management solution deployment
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to lead a technical team
- Knowledge of Data Management and Configuration Management principles
- Ability to work in a team, local as well as remote
- Ability to do extended travel to customer sites
- Ability to communicate on telephone and handle all calls in a professional and personable manner
WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel for multi week assignments
- Work is performed in a standard office environment and involves the ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate on telephone and handle all calls in a professional and personable manner
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time, to work on desktop computer with keyboard and mouse (repetitive keyboard and mouse motion is necessary)
- Vision must be good enough to read keyboards, computer screens, reference books, reports and other written documents
- Ability to drive own vehicle or rental vehicle
