include:
- IP Lifecycle Management:
ENOVIA V6 has a strong focus on management of CAD data through both the Designer Central and VPM Central solutions. Designer Central is a multi-CAD solution, providing a consistent methodology for the management of design data created with CATIA V5, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, Inventor, UG NX, AutoCAD and other popular design tools. The VPM Central product suite is specifically designed for the management of CATIA V6 data, with deep integration capability that allows for design in product configuration context, volume filtering, clash detection and other capabilities familiar to users of the previous V4 and V5 VPM solutions. Both Designer Central and VPM Central work in concert with Engineering Central, which provides part and BOM management capability as well as ECR/ECO processes that manage product change. Engineering Configuration Central provides these capabilities as well, while adding the ability to manage bills of material using product unit effectivity (PUE).
- Governance:
ENOVIA V6 provides a collection of products that focus on managing the business of product creation. Foremost among these is Program Central, which provides program and project management capability. In addition to providing project-centric data organization and security management, Program Central provides full WBS task management capability, allowing project schedules to be kept up to date in real time as work is completed. Also key to this product management domain is Requirements Central and Variant Configuration Central. Requirements Central provides functionality for managing and approving product requirements. This solution allows companies to close the loop on requirements by linking them to the product features that satisfy them. Variant Configuration Central provides the ability to manage variant product features for configure-to-order modular products.
- Global Sourcing:
ENOVIA V6 Supplier Central includes products aimed at helping to manage suppliers. Sourcing Central and Quotation Central provide capabilities to govern the RFQ process and provide decision support for supplier evaluation and selection. Supplier Central aims to manage supplier relations and qualifications by managing qualification criteria and the qualification process as well as by tracking supplier performance and key metrics.
- Unified Live Collaboration:
This is a set of enablement products that allows customers to define the ENOVIA V6 data model and to refine its functionality to integrate seamlessly into the their business environment. This set of products includes integration enablers that provide interactivity with ERP solutions, Microsoft desktop authoring tools, 2D/3D view/review tools, and much more.
